App - POS for restaurants
01 UNDERSTAND
Working in the restaurants business, a fellow developer and I realised that there was a need to create a software adapted to all hoteliers and waiters. A web app that could be used by people unfamiliar with technology and that had new and useful functions within the sector.
02 IDEATE
In order to streamline the order-taking process and help restaurants workers, we started brainstorming and proposing ideas.

We thought of new functions, analysed potential users, and came up with the general style of the app.

The research phase was very complete as we were working hand in hand with potential users (being ourselves at that time also part of them). We carried out interviews, customer journey map, buyer persona, etc.
03 DECIDE
In the decision making phase, we went through the development and design hand in hand. Starting with sketches, wireframes, mockups... made in Figma.

At the same time, I was completing the brand manual in Illustrator for the final result.
04 PROTOTYPE
Later, we took the designs to reality in the form of prototypes that allowed us to see how the interface design and the relationship between the different screens worked.

This allowed us to fix bugs and add new implementations so that the final design was rounded.
05 test
Finally, we first tested it in the establishment where we worked and we tested it ourselves together with the rest of the workers.

Once tested, we launched it and it is currently being used by several catering establishments.

We received a grant from the Junta de AndalucĂ­a after submitting our product to a competition.
